ca. 1845		 Robert Morris, a wealthy businessman, was responsible for the financing of the Revolutionary War.  He died in 1806. Captain Andreas Wiederholdt, a German mercenary, was captured by the colonists in 1776.   It is not known if this cartoon was based on a real incident.  It may have been a part of a historical series.
