Guide to the SFACA Collection : Newspaper Comic Strips
Series II: Comic Sections
Each record in this list begins with a finding number identifying the box, folder, and Mylar sleeve in which the comic section
is housed. These numbers are used by the archive's staff to retrieve materials. The collector separated certain pages from
these copies of the Chicago Tribune for the purpose of reproducing them. The tearsheets were unboxed at the library several months after the box containing
the remaining pages of each section had been processed. Consequently, some editions listed below have two records. The finding
number SFT96 designates tear sheets bearing cartoons by the artist Lyonel Feininger. The remainder of each section is stored in Box SFS38.
