The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum is happy to engage classes from any discipline who are interested in learning more about their subject matter through the lens of cartoon art. Join us in the Lucy Shelton Caswell Reading Room for show-and-tell viewings of materials from our collections selected to enhance your course, or for a whirlwind history of cartoon art and instructional session on using our resources in our Will Eisner Seminar room. Special sessions can also be constructed based course topics and assignments. We are also able to offer a range of remote learning possibilities, including access to pre-recorded lectures, live stream talks featuring a show-and-tell of collection materials, or resource and database guidance. For more information contact cartoons@osu.edu.

To schedule a class at The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, contact us at cartoons@osu.edu and include:

• The name of the requesting institution
• Course title and number (for Ohio State University classes)
• Purpose and/or goals for the class visit
• Two to three suggested dates for your session
• Number of students

We require a minimum of one month in advance to arrange a class.
