Learn about the history and current state of Turkish comics with Nedim Bali of Libra Books. Bali will discuss Turkish comics and artists, and how foreign comics influenced the development of Turkish comic readership. This presentation will be followed by an open house for The Middle East Collection of Comics at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum.

The event will take place in the Will Eisner Seminar Room, Rm. 205 and is free and open to the public. Refreshments provided by the Middle Eastern Studies Center.
